In which continent is the country of Egypt located?

Egypt is located on the continent of Africa. It is situated in the northeastern corner of the continent and is famous for its rich history, including the ancient civilization of the Pharaohs, the Pyramids of Giza, and the Nile River, which runs through it. While Egypt is often mentioned in connection with the Middle East and has territories that extend into the Sinai Peninsula, the majority of its landmass and its cultural and historical identity are deeply rooted in Africa. This geographic fact is critical in understanding the political, economic, and social dynamics of the region.
